Privacy and removal

Where listings come from

• Businesses added by Scalearm or by their owners
• OpenStreetMap, a public map anyone can edit (© OpenStreetMap contributors, Open Database Licence)
• Information a business publishes on its own websites
• Companies named in Nigerian news, which are checked before they appear

What we store

Only business details meant for the public: name, category, address, phone, email, website, opening hours and map location. When you claim a listing or submit an event, the name, email and phone you give us are used to review it and contact you. They are never shown on the site.

Changing or removing a listing

Every listing has a link to report a mistake or ask for removal. Owners can also claim their listing and edit it themselves. Removed listings stay removed, even when the map is scanned again.

We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
